We joined the 15th Annual President's Run!
A number of Region 2 members went to Sussex, NB on Saturday, May 16th to support the Sussex Valley ATV Club (Club 34, Region 8) with their 15th Annual President’s Run event.
The run started at the Adair’s Wilderness Lodge with over 100 ATVs and Side by Sides lined up and ready for a great day. The weather cooperated with temperatures reaching the low 20c with a mostly sunny sky.
The rally was organized as a self-directed event, which means riders could leave and return as they wished. The nearly 85 km trail was well marked with many locations to stop and relax. At the half way point, the club had arranged for a BBQ tent with inexpensive burgers and hot dogs for sale to all riders.
A huge thank you to all the ATV bike enthusiasts, volunteers, and sponsors who helped make this edition a great success. We look forward to returning to a future event.
The Salmon River and bridge were beautiful to see.
Some beautiful sites to see along the trail including Four Mile Lake, Big Salmon River and the bridge, Crowe Brook bridge and Crowe Brook falls.
Trails were wet but only in a few spots, but lots of rocks and the black flies were out on such a warm day in May.
Overall, very enjoyable time in a beautiful part of New Brunswick.
