Spring Fun Run to Pabineau Falls with Club 15 Alnwick

We joined the Spring Fun Ride to Pabineau Falls!

A large number of Region 2 members came out on Saturday to support Club VTT/ATV Alnwick (Club 15, Region 4) with their Spring Fun Run heading to Pabineau Falls, a beautiful attraction just south of Bathurst, NB. within the boundary of Club 5 VTT / ATV Chaleur in Region 2.

The run started at the Alnwick club parking lot (across from the La Bonne Route restaurant) with approximately 50 ATVs and Side by Sides lined up and ready for a great day.  The weather cooperated for the most part, with only a slight occassional drizzle and high temperatures of 12C (not bad for a May run in northeastern New Brunswick).

The group took a couple of extended rest stops on the way to Pabineau Falls and arrived after approximately 4 hours on the trails.  While at the falls, members took the time to hike around and enjoy the scenic beauty as well as break out the barbeques for some great food.  Lots of new friends were made on this trip.

A huge thank you to all the ATV bike enthusiasts, volunteers, and sponsors who helped make this edition a great success. We look forward to seeing you at our next event.

It was my first time at Pabineau Falls and It was amazing.  I will definitely come back.

WE RIDE TOGETHER !

Club 3: Trail Status Run to Kedgwick

A small group from the club did a run on Saturday to investigate the status of Trail #10 from Christoper area (near Glencoe) to Kedgwick.

These are our findings:
1- Staging area near Chirstopher.  Trails looked good with little snow.
2 – Made a quick stop at the site of a future rest area planned by Club 3
3 – Found snow early and lots of it throughout the trail.
4 – Upsilquitch Bridge looks good but river is very high
5 – There are 18 bridges to Kedgwick and several have railing damage.
6 – Ice is deep in some places and washouts are VERY dangerous.
7 – Passed by Grog Brook Falls.  Water is high but falls was beautiful.
8 – Needed to clear several fallen trees so always good to have a saw.
9 – Time for lunch and then back home.

Total distance travelled was approximately 150 kms return and we took 10 hours to complete.

See pictures and video from the run on the Facebook page of Découvrir avec Lili.

Club 2: Ride des Sucreries

The 2025 Ride des Sucreries - A sweet Success Dispite the Weather!

Once again this year, the community rallied in force to participate in our unmissable Ride des Sucreries! Despite the unpredictable weather, no fewer than 310 registrations were recorded, once again demonstrating the enthusiasm and loyalty of the participants.

Thanks to the hard work of the organizing committee and the support of our partners, more than 50 participation and attendance prizes were awarded, adding a festive touch to this already special day.

A huge thank you to all the ATV bike enthusiasts, volunteers, and sponsors who helped make this edition a true success. We look forward to seeing you next year for a new, even sweeter adventure on two wheels.

So much fun … so much rain!
