The Heron’s Nest cottages offer vacationers an unforgettable panoramic view of the Chaleur Bay, the Gaspé coast and the Appalachian Mountain range. We offer the most breathtaking views in the province with some of the most spectacular sunrises and sunsets you’ll ever see.

Our cottages are only a short walk from the beach and have direct access to wonderful walking, biking and ATV / snowmobiling trails.  Outdoor enthusiasts will be thrilled with the number of activities available to them and the beauty of the surrounding area.  Our twenty cottages are open year-round along with our Heron’s Nest Bistro Pub & Brewhouse. Come taste a local craft beer, cocktail or glass of wine along with some traditional pub food favorites. Enjoy open mic on Thursdays or local live music on Fridays and Saturdays.We are always happy to meet new customers.

Évadez-vous au Island Lake Club, un lieu de retraite qui offre des chalets en location, un restaurant et des possibilités de pêche et de chasse, situé dans la paroisse de Balmoral. C'est un cadre naturel qui regorge d'aventures !

Situés à proximité du lac, certains de nos cottages peuvent accueillir jusqu'à 6 personnes. Chaque cottage dispose d'une cuisine entièrement équipée, d'une salle à manger/salon avec un lit escamotable, de deux chambres à coucher avec deux lits simples et d'une salle de bain avec douche. Tous les draps pour les lits et la salle de bain sont fournis. Un des chalets est accessible en fauteuil roulant.

Services offerts : Notre salon propose des repas chauds, du thé et du café et dispose d'une licence complète. Nous proposons également la location de bateaux à la journée ou à la demi-journée. Les gilets de sauvetage sont obligatoires et sont disponibles au club. Le soir, vous pouvez vous détendre près d'un feu de camp.

Itinéraire depuis Balmoral : En arrivant au garage Esso, allez vers le sud sur le chemin Drapeau, qui vous mènera au chemin NBIP (route en gravier) et suivez les indications. Le Club Island Lake est situé à environ 50 km de Balmoral. Le Club est également accessible en voiture depuis St-Quentin ou Bathurst sur la route des Ressources naturelles.

En été, vous pouvez pêcher dans les lacs et les ruisseaux environnants. Les amateurs de VTT trouveront de nombreux sentiers. Vous pouvez également observer les oiseaux et/ou photographier la faune variée que la chaîne des Appalaches a à offrir. Nous avons également un sentier pédestre qui fait le tour de notre magnifique lac. La saison d'automne attire des chasseurs de toutes les régions. En hiver, pendant la saison de l'or blanc, les motoneigistes savent que nous offrons une atmosphère chaleureuse et confortable.
